Last week’s Buffalo Times stated that the first burial at Rest Haven Cemetery was Shirley Ann Gibson in 1977. However, the paper was informed the first burial took place in 1972 when Sidney (Sid) Fleece was interred, followed by Owen (Curly) Brant, who was buried on November 2, 1972.
